I did it! I cast on for sock #2, after writing 6 thank you notes (I ran out of notes, and didn't feel like going downstairs to find more.) It was much less stressful than I thought it would be. I don't know, I think the 8" of K1P1 rib really got me down before Christmas. I think the way to go might be to intermingle knitting the sock with other activities, so it doesn't bother me so much that it's such slow going.
It's supposed to be 59 degrees today in Boston. Isn't that crazy? I should take the kids outside, but we have playgroup in a little while, and they usually fall asleep on the way home.
I'm anxious to finish the sock, because I have A LOT of things I want to knit! My queue at Ravelry keeps getting longer!
