Knitting is actually going on...

I haven't posted in a week. I wonder, does anyone miss me, the way I miss people whose blogs I read?

There has been knitting going on - I've finished the mystery object, and all will be revealed by the end of the week. It took a lot more time than I thought it would. The pattern repeat wasn't difficult, but it required paying attention. I think I unknit just as much as I knit!

I also finished little boy's hat in the "Americana" Superwash from the football swap. I'm so tickled with it! I plan on knitting several other hats this month as Christmas gifts for little ones' friends. I already have most of the yarn I'll be using in the stash, so I just have to get to knitting!

Today, I cast on for one of my pay it forward objects. I hope to be done soon! I also have received my partner for the Christmas Around the World Swap. I've made contact, but haven't heard back from her yet. I have heard from the person sending to me (I never remember - which one is upstream and which one is downstream?) I'm VERY excited for this swap!

Happy Knitting, all!

I missed reading your thoughts...but you never know when someone is sick...or has sick kids. Or, is on vacation. I couldn't bring myself to announce my vacation awhile back before I left. That was like announcing that my house would be empty for theivery. Not that knit bloggers would come steal my yarn stash...but just the thought. Glad you're back.

That looks so cute! And making hats for your little one's friends is a great stash buster too! That's a good way to kill two birds with one stone :)

I've missed you, Dorothy! :)
It's been WILD here (more on the blog later) but things are calming down.
God is SO good, and I needed some peace and rest! Anyhow, I want to THANK YOU for the cutest coffee mitt! It fits my Dunkin Donuts Large cup perfectly, and I use it all the time. You are so sweet! Time for me to get knitting for my own PIF swap pals...I'll keep up with you on your blog. I've got to catch my own blog up, too. Have a delightful week!!! Kris in NH :)
