I have wound the skein of malabrigo into a ball, and I've printed out the pattern.
Now, if only I had the energy to cast-on. Is it just me, or have all the holiday activities just made it impossible to maintain any level of energy after 8 p.m.? Today, I made peppermint ice cream, after spending several hours wrapping gifts for my mother-in-law (including my own, I might add!) :) Sadly, the peppermint ice cream lacked something. I think I'm going back to Alton Brown's ice cream recipe. I've had good luck with it in the past.
Happy Knitting (and eating, and wrapping, and enjoying the holidays!).

I feel you. It's 7:30, and I was watching a movie on my computer so I wasn't sure of that until it stopped - I thought for sure it had to be 10 or 10:30 by now with as tired as I was feeling LOL
Can't wait til you get started though - it's such heaven knitting with malabrigo!
Where did you get your malabrigo? I'm so jealous - I want some!! But I can't find anywhere at all near me that sells it!! I was asking Linda about it but I don't think she carries it yet!! Hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season! Hugs to your Mom!!
Deb - I got the malabrigo from Anne in a swap. I haven't seen it in any stores around here either! It's really soft, and I'm excited to knit with it.
