The problem with this time of year is that blogging takes away from valuable gift knitting time. So, I apologize if I don't seem to pop around that often. I finished up my knitted something for the Christmas Swap (a nice break from hats for small children.). It's not a big something, but my downstream partner doesn't seem to be on-line all that much, so I haven't really gotten to know anything about her. This is a huge contrast to my upstream partner - we exchange emails a couple times a week, and it's been so much fun getting to know her! I'm in the middle of a small child hat. It's for a VERY small child, and baby yarn makes everything last forever. I also have some other crafty things going on, and sadly, I can't post them or it would give away the surprise.
I'm super relieved that there's an extra week this year between Thanksgiving and Christmas (Advent starts NEXT Sunday, not the one coming up), and I'm trying to be reasonable about what I'll be able to accomplish.
Now, the little ones are napping, and I'm off to knit on a baby hat!
Happy knitting!

it's nice when pals are chatty, isn't it? i always figure that i've "said something" if i don't hear back from my pals... yes - i could be a therapist's dream! can't wait until all of the secret knitting out there is revealed. since most of the people i knit for don't have a clue about my blog - it's never a secret!
Hi Dorothy! I ditto you on the less blogging/more knitting time. :)
Happy Knitting to you, and enjoy your Thanksgiving time with your family.
Blessings to you,
Kris in NH :)
Happy Thanksgiving...you're a winner in my contest...hop on over to my blog.
I'm in the Winter Wonderland Coffee Swap, and both my pals are great about corresponding. It's really fun, as I haven't had that many who are talkative before!
Right now I'm knitting hexagonal coasters, which will be felted. If they look like the pattern, they'll be cute!
